Firestone Complete Auto Care

My tire was reading -4. So I went to a gas station to fill it up and then it was -20. I was very concerned. I stopped at the Firestone in Stamford and they were so nice. They looked at my tires. They filled it up explained to me that -20 wasn’t possible. They did it very quickly and they didn’t even charge me. It was just a wonderful random act of kindness. I highly recommend.

TERRIBLE PLACE. DO NOT GO HERE. I showed up an hour before closing time with an emergency tire situation and they could not care less if they tried. They were “busy.” There was one man in the waiting room and one car in the garage. It would not take five minutes to look at my tire. I will NEVER come here again and neither should you. Mavis Tires is five minutes down the road and they are excellent. I mean just look at the Google reviews between this place and them. That’s all you need to know.

The staff was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain exactly what was going on with my car. I originally thought my A/C just needed coolant, but they found that my condenser and compressor were leaking. While the repair ended up being much more extensive than I expected, I appreciated their honesty and the fact that they looked into another Firestone location that could do the work for a significantly lower price. Overall, I had a positive experience and appreciated their transparency and customer service.

Jonathan at Firestone Stamford deserves employee of the month — and probably a raise I’ve had a great experience every time I’ve gone to Firestone in Stamford, and a huge reason for that is Jonathan. The last time I was there, he recommended the lifetime alignment package, and honestly, it ended up being a great purchase. I came back in on a Thursday for an alignment, but the wait was longer than expected. Instead of just having me sit there for hours, Jonathan recommended dropping the car off first thing Friday morning. That simple suggestion made the whole experience so much easier. What really impressed me was watching how he handled the shop. He was juggling around five walk-in customers at once, while also checking in people with appointments, answering questions, and keeping everything moving. Somehow, he still took the time to explain what was going on with my car and never made me feel rushed. Jonathan is just a genuinely nice, honest guy. He’s good at explaining automotive issues in a way that makes sense, and I always feel like he is actually looking out for the customer’s best interest instead of trying to upsell unnecessary work. The shop itself was moving fast too

Have always had a good experience bringing my car to this location. Most recently needed a repair for a slow leak in one of the tires, plus a sensor replacement for the tire monitoring system. Brought my car after lunch as a walk-in to drop it off. By 3pm I received a technical report via email with photos of what work was done including them checking the tires and brake fluid exchange. Shortly after that they called to discuss what I wanted to do about the sensors. They were able to complete all the needed work and it was ready to pickup by 5:30pm that same day. Very pleased with how quick I was able to get it back. In past experiences I'm able to get my car back the next day, still quick so same day was great!
